The JAVA Programmer works under the direction of lead team members (Senior Java Programmer or System Analyst) to develop and maintain systems. Works all phases of the development life cycle. Interprets requirements and specifications, creates design, codes & tests and deploys systems. Maintains daily builds. Supports systems, problem log research, root cause analysis, recommends and implements solutions in enterprise environment and outside working hours cell phone support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years experience are required.
Main Skill Set:
Knowledge and proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, J2SE, J2EE, XML, web services, AJAX, design patterns, OOA, Linux/other family of UNIX, JBoss/other J2EE application servers, source control and defect management software. Requires good oral and written communication, planning, organizing problem-solving, accountability, initiative and judgment skills. Team player who able to work with all project team(s) members, all support groups and other teams with integration point ownerships.
